Devops Engineer - Eindhoven/Netherlands - Euros Per Day
Skill: Kibana, Splunk, Zabbix, Nagios, Python,Linux, Automation, Scripting
Length of Contract: 6 Month Rolling
Job Description:
- Extensive experience with event driven monitoring solutions, and integration with SNMP frameworks
- Ability to develop effective monitoring capabilities to minimize downtime and adopt CI/CD methods to improve monitoring solutions
- Good experience to Create hierarchical monitoring solutions to prevent false alarms or alert floods for dependent services
- Good working knowledge of MIB/SMTP for system and service monitoring
- Experience with data analytics tools and methods (ie Splunk)
- Assist with identification & remediation of server, network, & storage performance issues
- Extensive experience in automating tasks using Shell, Python, Perl, Yaml, etc
- Experience to Setup, initialize, and configure monitoring tools (Kibana, Zabbix, Nagios, etc)
- Basic knowledge and understanding of OS and server platforms
- Ability to coach, mentor, & train others on effective use of monitoring solution
- Understanding of RHEL/Linux/Networking/Naming Services
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including the ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively throughout all levels of the organization and with audiences with varying levels of familiarity with information
- Good interpersonal skills, work with a team environment, with all levels of the organization
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Good to have knowledge on ITIL Framework, Agile ways of working and working with Jira tool and Service Now
