PHP Architect

€480 per day

Brussels, Belgium

12-month ongoing contract

My Client are a globally leading Organisation and are looking for an English-speaking PHP Architect to join their ongoing project In Brussels, Belgium. You will be integrated into the team where you will be managing the project team.

Your tasks:

  • Architecture and design of information systems
  • Review of the architecture of existing systems
  • Design and development of architecture components and building blocks
  • Analysis of the integration of different information systems
  • Data analysis and Datamodelling
  • Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
  • Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
  • Production of software architecture documents
  • Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
  • Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting

Requirements

  • University degree with minimum 12 years of IT professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in development of IT systems with PHP/Symfony
  • Strong professional experience in secure web application design as well as development of graphical user interfaces
  • Working experience of at least 3 years in Object Oriented architecture and Model-View-Controller (MVC) methodologies
  • Minimum 3 years experience in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and SQL language
  • Solid experience in security best practices in web development
  • Minimum 3 years experience in interoperability technologies (eg web services, message oriented Middleware, service oriented bus)
  • Proven knowledge of modelling tools, SOA and Enterprise Architecture
  • Good knowledge of business process analysis
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS and responsive design methodology
  • Minimum 2 years experience with JIRA and/or GIT
  • Excellent command of English
