DevOps Engineer - Java - AWS - Azure
This is a genuinely fantastic opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious EU Institutions in Belgium.
We are on the lookout for a DevOps Engineer with at least 9 years of experience. + a senior Engineer with at least 13 years experience.
These are long term contracts with a very high chance of renewal. The longer you work there, the more valuable you become and this means that you could stay there for years.

- Minimum 5 years of relevant studies after the secondary school (2 years of professional experience can compensate 1 year of study)
- Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to participate in multilingual meetings (Ability to understand, speak and write English and basic French)
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design
- Very good knowledge of at least one cloud service, AWS or Azure, including their infrastructure-as-code technology (CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager templates).
- Very good knowledge of at least one strongly-typed Object Oriented language (ex Java, c#)
- Good knowledge of security oriented cloud services, including Azure Security Center or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of application monitoring on the cloud, including Azure Application Insights or equivalent.
- Knowledge of micro services architecture design, development, deployment and instrumentation
- Knowledge of applications design
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (eg message oriented Middleware, Event Hubs or similar)
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational data stores o Knowledge of infrastructure as code
- Ability to give technical presentations
- Ability to apply high quality standards
- Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment.
