Description

Lead Evangelist & Trainer required to join leading video doorbell and home security company Ring. You will support our sales growth through professionally-installed channels in the UK, in order to achieve our goal of making neighbourhoods safer. This person will be based in the UK and report to the European B2B and UK Commercial Leads.

The Lead Evangelist & Trainer will manage and deliver all aspects of partner training and product evangelism, working closely with CEDIA dealers and electrical and security trade distributors and trade counters, fuelled by our mission to create safer neighbourhoods. The successful candidate will be hard working, technically-savvy and comfortable implementing processes alongside multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the training plan for Ring's UK professional partner channels, introducing the Ring product line to key partners to maximise performance

  • Collaborate with international stakeholders on training priorities, including the creation of UK-specific content relating to local requirements and construction standards

  • Develop and implement a training programme alongside trade associations, distribution partners and key accounts for trade verticals

  • Create, update and maintain training materials for use across multiple regions and act as the key point of contact for new training resources

  • Act as the key point of contact for the Ring Pro/Installed Solutions business in the UK and first point of contact for professional channel product support

  • Work closely with the European B2B Lead to support training of new and existing partners and key accounts, acting as point of contact for professional channel support and fulfilling additional training needs as identified by internal stakeholders

  • As the owner of all training activities related to Ring Pro/Installed Solutions, develop strong working relationships across the company with key technical and training specialists at Ring, as well as stakeholders working on design, product development and customer experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years' experience in technical training within professional and/or trade channels

  • Professional-grade knowledge of system integrator and electrical space

  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting in-depth technical information to multiple stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Willingness to travel up to three weeks per month

Preferred Qualifications

  • A serious interest in IOT, technology and/or construction space

  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously

  • Outstanding attention to detail and bias for action, as well as an understanding of technology, and ability to communicate complex topics effectively

  • Strong project and program management experience in delivering key business outcomes

  • Experience with key UK trade customers and/or CEDIA channel is a plus

  • Organised, collaborative and adaptable, with a positive, can-do, go-the-extra-mile attitude
