IT Storage Systems Administrator (SAN/NAS) - Luxembourg (EU Based Candidates)

Languages: ENGLISH speaking.

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience with management of IT infrastructure and/or applications migration projects or initiatives as a Project Manager.
  • Technical knowledge of various IT domains such as Windows, Unix, Linux, Mainframe, Middleware, Storage, Telecom, Security etc.
  • Knowledge of Project Management practices and methodologies (eg PMBOK or Prince2), planning tools etc. with relevant certificates and accreditations (or equivalent knowledge and experience).
  • Technical professional who specializes in providing perform services to clients on Disk Administration for Distributed Disk, Storage-Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) Administation.

Description of work:

  • Responsible for installing configuring maintaining administering troubleshooting and upgrading to maintain an effective, efficient authentication and data storage systems for Clients' organisations.
  • Management of the SAN, Disk Storage and NAS environments, performing logical disk space management services, 1st/2nd level maintenance of storage devices, follow standards for security and data protection.
  • Operation and maintenance of operating systems across multiple platforms, Middleware applications, various databases technologies, high availability solutions and load balancing.
  • Database administration, capacity planning, performance management, security compliance.
