Description
I have an urgent requirement for a Linux Engineer to help my client build a new Web Server, covering the Operating System and initial applications installation and configuration.
This is short term contract that can be completed remotely. You will be responsible for performing a complete system build of a CentOs Linux web server using the LAMP stack. The web server will need to be configured for hosting a total of 11 (eleven) websites using cPanel/WHM, PHP, MySQL, Joomla, WordPress and Git among other web technologies.
Essential skills:
* Experience with CentOS 8 installation and configuration including hardware (physical/logical) best practices
* Experience installing and configuring Apache and its modules
* Experience in working with the LAMP stack and cPanel/WHM
* Experience installing, configuring, optimizing and hardening Unix/Linux Servers
