Advantage Resourcing are currently looking for an EITF Integration Engineer for a large defence organisation based in Glasgow to work within the Electrical Integration Test Facility team, the role of the Senior Integration Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the integration management of all ship-fit equipment based at the test facility.
The role holder will also be required to support the identification and management of equipment hazards in addition to overseeing the management of ship-fit equipment maintenance.
Essential
* Ability to manage own workload and that of the team
* Ability to perform technical investigations based on feedback from test team
* Knowledge and understanding of Marine Systems Equipment
* Either possess or be able to obtain UK MOD Security Clearance to SC Level
Desirable
* Ability to develop and prepare solutions, individually or as a member of a project team
* Act as the main point of contact with all stakeholders in assigned areas on engineering matters
* Experience of liaising with external stakeholders
* 5 years' experience in marine or naval engineering discipline
Technical Knowledge
* Expertise and experience of electrical power systems analysis
* Able to perform analysis using recognised analytical tools and to make sound judgements.
* Able to gather, filter and process information that will be used to perform testing; discussing with and eliciting information from SMEs/Stakeholders/Suppliers.
* Familiar with technical documentation configuration management
Qualifications
* Typically Degree qualified in engineering
* Actively working towards Chartered Engineer status
