Project Engineer/Contract/Remote
Location: Cork
Rate: 240 Euros p/d
Contract: 12 Months initially
Capita's global client is seeking a Project Engineer to work collaboratively with the New Product Programme team to own the clean and pack process for multiple projects and new products across the next 5 years.
Key skills:
- Work with Quality, Operations, Product Design teams and global packaging teams to develop new process to market launch.
- Process development and value engineering including PFMEA
- Process Characterisation
- Process Qualification/Validation
- Planning of key deliverable's into action plans with the help of the Project Manager and execution of these plans
- Regular reporting on the status, performance and risks of your process/technology
- Participate in DFM reviews with Design Team to minimise life cycle cost
- Minimise Environmental and Health & Safety effects of your work
- Adhere to the company's procedures as detailed in the SOP manual
- Support Regulatory Affairs with product submissions
- All other duties as directed by direct manager
Essential skills:
- Third level degree in Biomedical, Chemical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Biochemistry or similar discipline.
- Experience in general engineering.
- Self-motivated, with focus on Quality, Delivery and Cost.
- Proven Root Cause analysis and problem-solving techniques (A3, 8D, TRIZ or equivalent).
