I am seeking an experienced Data Management Systems Engineer to work with a client based in Sweden, although the initial part of this contract is remote working due to COVID-19. Some key information regarding this opportunity is as follows:
The Client
My client is venturing into the Autonomous vehicle industry and is therefore recruiting various teams at present. One of which is for Systems Engineers that are experts in ADAS.
The Role
You will be responsible for data management in respect to the ADAS Sensor within the automotive team. The role will involve liaising with various departments such as Systems Design, Project Management, Software etc in order to develop ADAS sensors and functions as well as analyse the requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the DMS (data management system) for the ADAS Sensor data.
- You will be responsible for continuous development of the system to include new sensors and add visualisation tools
- Be the leader in terms of data collection activities, analysis and annotation
- Definition of data collection scenarios
- Establish and innovate cost-effective solutions for current and future data collection systems
- Involvement in the specification of automotive perception systems and subsystem requirements
- Evaluate and review the performance of new ideas
Therefore, I am ideally seeking candidates with the below areas of skills and expertise:
- Experience of automotive data management complimented with knowledge of data collection and data management tools
- Visualisation tools knowledge
- Previous experience with ADAS sensor data collection
- Knowledge of automotive sensors such as camera, radar, lidar, IMU etc and associated interfaces
- ADAS function testing
