Embedded Developer - ASAP Start - Rotterdam - 4 Months - Dutch - 60 - 80 EUR/hrPresently we are looking to hire an Embedded Firmware Engineer to work in our new product development group.
Primary Responsibilities
* Lead definition, firmware design, implementation, and verification efforts for embedded safety LIDAR and camera systems.
* Manage schedule risk through independent and team based failure analysis activity (FTA, FMEA, etc.).
* Utilize formal design processes to realize the requirements for functional safety in our target markets.
Qualifications
* experience developing, designing and bringing successful products to market.
* Demonstrated experience of using real time operating systems in embedded environments (e.g., uCos, QNX, etc).
* Experience with multiprocessor based embedded systems.
* Strong C programming skills are required, as well as expertise in C++ and assembly.
* Experience with network programming using various communication protocols.
* Familiarity with Bluetooth technology.
* Detailed understanding of ARM-based microcontrollers.
* Expertise in programming various hardware modules: GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, SDIO, USB, EMIF, MMU, DMA, PCIe.
* Familiarity with version control systems.
* Experience in writing unit/module control, automating test cases.
* Experience with test-driven development (DDT).
* Creative approach to design and problem solving, able to research problems as needed.
* Demonstrated proficiency with test equipment relevant to embedded product development (JTAG, logic analyzers, scopes, etc.).
* Ability to write and present technical and status reports to multiple audiences, and to lead in-group discussions.
* Positive "can-do" attitude, integrity and high ethics.
