This position will start off as 100% remote until the Coronavirus has been contained.
Resource 1 is seeking a MicroStrategy Designer/Developer for a contract position in Elkridge, MD. Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience developing dashboards and reports in MicroStrategy. Our client is currently using MicroStrategy but may move to Power BI in the future, so selected individual must be willing to learn and work with Power BI in the future.
This position is focused on Business Intelligence visualization. We are seeking a creative individual who will be responsible for taking data sets and creating clean, modern Front End dashboards in MicroStrategy/Power BI. These visualizations will reside in clinical applications used by the client's customers, so they must be visually appealing and easy to understand.
Individual will be tasked with applying new styles through the existing system based on design requirements. Ideal candidate would have in-depth knowledge and understanding of design/visualization concepts and BI tools and how to use them to develop and optimize reports and dashboards.
Experience designing with Google Material Design language would be preferred, but it is not required.
Candidates will be encouraged to provide examples of work, such as layouts or sample dashboards, if possible.
This will be an onsite position at the Elkridge office with the possibility of a few days per week working from home.
