This position will start off as 100% remote until the Coronavirus has been contained.
Resource 1 is in need of a C#/.NET Developer for a position in downtown Chicago (very close to train). The initial contract is for 6 months, but extensions are expected. Consultant will be developing enhancements/modifications for an application used by nurses. Individual should have at least 3 years of experience in C#/.NET and ASP.NET MVC development. Individual will be responsible for writing C# code that will interface with both SOAP and REST APIs to consume data from the APIs and route into a SQL Server database/data warehouse. The majority of development (80%) will be on the Back End/middle tier. For the Front End, selected individual will be using AngularJS, so experience with AngularJS or later versions is preferred (client will also accept candidates having experience with jQuery). Client has plans to move to later versions of Angular as well as .NET Core in the future, so this would be a great opportunity for a junior-mid-level developer to learn these technologies. Individual should also be proficient in SQL (stored procedures/triggers/queries).
