The Responsibilities for the Oracle Applications DBA include but are not limited to;
- Responsible for all aspects of Oracle Application database administration
- Cloning and patching applications and databases
- Backups and clean-ups
- Manage, monitor and configure workflow
- Installation and upgrades of Oracle
- General maintenance of the database
- Maintain Application security and security patches
The successful Oracle Applications DBA would have the following:
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PLSQL
- Knowledge of Oracle core Architecture
- Experience creating database users
- A similar role in an Oracle Applications environment
- Previous Oracle Applications DBA experience
