Role: Senior Java Back End developer
Project length: 12 or 24 months
Location: Warsaw, Poland (100% remote for the time being)
Role & responsibilities:
- Creating complex Back End systems for several different applications that support one of the biggest trading platforms worldwide - these are often high availability, high throughput, mission-critical systems.
- Writing robust, clean and quality code in Java 8/11.
- Liaising with international team of developers and other stakeholders
- Contributing ideas and analytical discussions to solve complex issues with the most efficient solution.
Skills & Qualifications
- Significant commercial experience with complex Back End systems,
- Strong practical knowledge of Java 8 and above.
- Solid knowledge of design patterns and algorithms
- Interest in latest technologies and continues personal development
- Can-do attitude
Nice to have:
- University degree in Computer Science, Application Development or related disciplines
- Working knowledge with Kafka, ElasticSearch, noSQL databases such as MongoDB, Spring Batch, etc.
- Experience in the financial industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
