Description
My defence client is recruiting for a security cleared Naval Radar Engineering Manager to join their team in South West England on an initial contract until the end of the year.

Key Responsibilities:
Support to the radar function which includes:
* Resolution of operational defects through corrective maintenance
* Provision of preventative maintenance schedules
* Provision of technical publications
* Equipment limitations and clearance for use
* Scheduling and statements of work for major upkeep periods
* Scheduling and statements of work for Assessment and Development life cycle stages
* Acceptance of equipment back into service post upkeep periods
* Acceptance of new equipment into service
* Obsolescence management
* Qualification and acceptance of equipment post major obsolescence resolution
* Equipment enhancement studies and trials
* Engineering risk management
* Production of Engineering Management Plans
* Engineering programme reviews
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
