Description
A Manufacturing client of ours have a requirement for a MAC OS Kernel Engineer to join them for an initial 12-month contract with the potential to extend further.
Daily responsibilities:
- This person must provide 2nd & 3rd Level desktop support to customer internal employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Manage the team incident queue and action all incidents within given SLA.
- Manage the hardware repair process in region, liaising with our offsite and onsite hardware repair service providers.
- Support MAC OS X Servers, troubleshooting access and permission issues.
- Support onsite managed print solution.
- internal meeting room check-in system.
- At least 2 years' experience working on MAC OS X Kernel.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Ability to learn new topics with minimum supervision and at a fast pace.
- Ability to work within a dynamic team.
- Diligent and responsible approach with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to direct and supervise work of others and operate in a team environment.
Soft skills:
- Self-motivated, must be able to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment in the absence of complete information.
- Able to interact with onsite and offshore teams.
- Good oral/written communication skills and pay high attention to detail .
- Available for immediate deployment.
Mandatory skills:
- At least 2 years' experience working on MAC OS X Kernel.
Desired skills:
- Experience with Mac OS X, iOS and Windows.
