Description

Job Title: Electronics Engineer (Contract)

Salary: Competitive

Location: Birmingham (North)

Candidates for this position will be given SC Enhanced Clearance and as such must have been resident in the UK for the past 5 years at a minimum.

A major Government organisation are actively seeking an experienced engineer to join their forensics division. This person will be working with law enforcement to help gain access to encrypted devices that are critical to ongoing investigations.

This is a highly interesting project which would be ideally suited to an experienced Electronics Engineer with an interest in forensics, hardware and reverse engineering.

Technical skills to include:

  • A good Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent work history
  • Technical understanding of at least one mobile platform
  • An interest in mathematics and forensics
  • The ability to read and understand electronics circuit diagrams and schematics
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages, both at a high and low level

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer and "tinkerer" to aid law enforcement while working with modern technology in a unique setting.
