MS Exchange Engineer (IronPort) - Luxembourg

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree or related work experience required.
- Knowledge of network decides (Servers, Routers, Firewalls) and network administrator tools (Winscp, PuTTY, WireShark).
- Successfully Implemented Microsoft Clustering technology Windows 2008, and 2012 platforms.
- Expert in maintaining server environments including security patches, firmware upgrades, hot fixes, service packs, intermediate versions/full version upgrades.
- Experience and knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with Windows Operating Systems (Hardware, Software).
- Experience with automated monitoring systems and technologies, with practical knowledge of MS SCOM/SCCM.
- Capable of performing installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning.
Description of work
- Establish and maintain documented procedures for system and service administration.
- Operation and maintenance of operating systems across multiple platforms, Middleware applications, various database technologies, high availability solutions and load balancing.
- Database administration, capacity planning, performance management and security compliance.
- These processes allow installation, configuration and administration of the Microsoft Exchange Server/Outlookwebaccess product suite in all supported environments.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, mentorship and knowledge sharing for other technical staff in the department.
- Evaluates system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for Hardware/software compatibilities.
- Recognizes and troubleshoots operating problems with server Hardware and application software.
- Diagnoses Hardware and software problems and recommends solutions and performs necessary system repairs.
- Performs installations of Hardware, software, and operating systems upgrades, changes and configurations.
- Researches, analyzes and recommends backup/security strategies as required.
