Description

AS400 AS400 Unix Production Support English Speaking, must have had experience working in the Banking environment.

Skills:

  • Experience on hosting platforms (AS400, Unix/Linux, and windows) - Mainly AS400, UNIX/Linux (with script, KSH, batch, PERL)/WINDOWS
  • Experience with secure transfer protocols eg SFTP, SCP, or anything similar
  • Experience in database management - System support, SQL script management
  • Technical knowledge of web server technologies for AS400
  • Experience with an M-type scheduler
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework

Description:

The IT production team is looking for a level 2 (L2). The mission is to ensure the availability and integrity of IT applications and environments within the Wealth Management business line.

In this role, the candidate will receive from the company an upgrade in technical knowledge to perform these L2 support activities such as:

  • Support for UAT/PROD environments: AS400 Administration, Secure file transfers to other systems, installation and upgrade of applications, support, CTRL-M
  • Provide technical and business knowledge to bank users and help them with their functional needs (incident management and resolution, request management)
  • Implementation of process improvements and automations to optimize production activities and improve team efficiency
  • Improved application stability and availability
  • Establish a climate of trust with external application providers
  • ITIL operation
  • In this role, you will work in close collaboration with other members of the company's IT department (local and international).

Requirements:

  • Good analytical and support skills
  • Preferably having already had experience in supporting sensitive and critical applications
  • Customer service and monitoring of needs, management of needs by priority
  • Excellent time management skills and good multi-tasking skills
  • Motivated, autonomous, takes full responsibility for his/her own actions
  • Monitoring of team objectives
  • Flexible, practical, with a proactive approach in terms of collaboration
  • Respect the norms and standards of the bank, in particular under pressure
  • You are in direct contact with users, you must follow requests, problems with them and ensure good communication
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, define and coordinate the implementation of technical solutions
  • Ensure the availability of applications
  • Efficient incident resolution management
  • Collaboration and interaction with other internal support teams
  • Management of documentation relating to applications, processes, requests, problems, this for training and knowledge sharing
  • Define operational improvements/requirements to make the daily activities of the team more efficient
  • Automate repetitive tasks
  • Night duty, public holidays and weekends according to a calendar planned in advance
  • Work in staggered schedules at 7:30 am for management of Morning Check according to a calendar planned in advance
  • Standard times to respect: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Availability required for interventions outside office hours, weekends and holidays
  • Flexible start date (ie immediate to 3 months notice)
  • You can work from home until the Coronavirus is settled
  • Working for a well established organisation
