James Carrera has been exclusively retained by a world leading organisation to source a Lead Data Scientist, specialist in Manufacturing Intelligence to build robust and scalable platforms for extracting, transforming and storing data along with tools for utilising and visualising the data.
Accountable for:
You will collaborate with SME's, data engineers and process experts to define and create data models for future data; collecting as well as developing pipelines for cleaning, combining and transforming existing data, as well as;
- Apply machine learning to solve challenges and optimise manufacturing efficiency
- Translate results and engage cross functionally, to engage in Data Science
- Develop pipeline for deployment of ML models
- Mentor, coach and inspire a team of Data Scientists
Qualifications:
Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or similar with demonstrated academic AND industry (manufacturing) experience, you will be an experienced Data Scientist who can lead and shape the platforms developed and the tools used, as well as;
- Motivated to expand knowledge of manufacturing and process engineering
- Visualisation and communication of complex statistics and data
- AWS, Python, Machine Learning, Tableau
- Understanding of Architecture
- Demonstrated lead, coaching, mentoring experience
Highly Desirable: DevOps, Docker, ML model pipelines and/or IoT Technology.
