Technical Application Manager (Windows Server)
One of our clients in the south of Holland is currently looking for an experienced Technical Application Manager who can maintain and improve the Windows Server environment. The client is going through an Agile transformation and they are looking for a person who can do more than just maintenance. The candidate they are looking for also needs to be able to do Scripting and to do configurations and upgrades.
The client is a major player in the Benelux and recently started a massive and challenging Data Virtualisation project.
Desired profile:
- Strong ability to maintain Windows Servers.
- Strong Scripting ability (eg Powershell)
- Experience with monitoring solutions required (eg Elastic Search, SCOM).
- Good troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong ability to maintain a good working relation with internal and external technical and functional stakeholders.
- We are looking for a pragmatic & pro-active teamplayer with a positive attitude who has a keen interest to learn new things and doesn't think in silos.
- Ability to define a technical monitoring solution, and turn this in an agile way into a working solution.
- Linux knowledge is a definite plus.
- Java knowledge is a plus.
- Cloud experience is a plus.
