Would you like to join our large financial client on a long-term project to advance your career?
We are looking for an EDB Database Administrator Postgres with experience as a DBA in such an environment that is implemented as Database as a Service. Completely runs on Linux (RHEL 7).
So what we are looking for is a DBA with the necessary infrastructure knowledge (EDB, RHEL7) and automation (Cloud Forms, Ansible, vRA/vRO). Would be very nice if this man also knows other databases, preferably Sybase. For EDB we have v10, v11 and we want to migrate to v12.
As a Database Administrator you'll be responsible for configuring, monitoring and improving PostgreSQL databases of one of the largest Dutch banks.
Must-haves:
- At least 5 years DBA experience
- Strong focus of Postgres/ EDB Database Administration (v10, v11, v12)
- strong infrastructure knowledge of Red Hat Linux 7
- Automation skills (Cloud Forms, Ansible, vRA/vRO)
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of other databases, preferably Sybase.
- NFS storage
- Orchestration experience
- Dutch language skills
