My Client in Central Brussels are looking for a long term Java Developer Upto 500 Euros per day
Description of tasks
- Design and implement proof of concept solutions and application components
- Develop automated tests, based on test automation and Scripting tools
- Review technical documentation, including code review
- Participate on functional analysis and in drafting of functional specifications.
- Participate at the drafting of Test Cases and at the development of the test plans
- Assess the feasibility of new projects, and draft technical requirements
- Review source code quality metrics
- Troubleshoot the technical issues in all our environments
- Build, deploy, configure software on local environments
Experience and capability required:
The contractor is required to have an in-depth knowledge and professional experience in the following areas:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Java developer in complex web applications
- Minimum 1 year of experience building automated tests for web applications
- Deep technical knowledge of IT technology: J2EE, Weblogic, Oracle DB, SOA, microservices, UI frameworks,etc
- Technical knowledge on testing frameworks and tools, such as, Selenium, jMeter, etc
- Knowledge and experience on web application security and on how to test it would be an asset.
- Experience in application monitoring, reporting and other aspects around operations of deployed systems
- Data analysis and Datamodelling.
- Coordination of various stakeholders, good communication skills and ability to work autonomously
- Basic networking concepts: Reverse Proxy, NAT, Http, SSL, etc
