A national insurance provider are seeking a Secretariat & Operations Assistant/PA to join their team in London on a FTC

An exciting opportunity to join an Insurance Market influencer in London and to get involved in some of the initiatives that are shaping the future of the industry. Primarily responsible for providing secretariat support to a number of high profile Market committees. This role will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the London Market Group's Back Office and for coordinating the promotion of their broader agenda through social media and the website. In addition there will be a small element of project support for our promotional London Makes it Possible workstream

What you will Do

Provision of key coordination and secretariat support to cross market committees (60% of the role)
Responsible for general office management activity including billing, coordinating with finance around month end, website updates, licences and contracts
Promotion of the broader company agenda through effective communications using all available social media channels
Provision of project support to our London Makes it Possible workstream.

Person Specification
Proven experience as a secretariat or PA within the insurance of financial service sector is highly desirable.

Proven experience assisting to book events, create social media and produce promotional material is essential as this role is supporting a team who attract new members.
Experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels including senior market figures.
Takes ownership and control, working independently and proactively and escalating when required
Hands-on approach
Highly organized and able to manage multiple activities and priorities;
Able to lead other people including experience of coordinating groups from a cross section of different functions and organizations
Good attention to detail and focus on quality
Good secretarial skills and minute taking
Has worked with a complex stakeholder matrix
