Data Virtualization Developer /Data Management Engineer
Our client, a leading Dutch asset management company in the south of Holland is currently looking for an experienced Data Virtualization Developer. The client is a major player in the Benelux and recently started a massive and challenging Data Virtualisation project combined with an Agile transformation and they are looking for a Data Virtualization Developer who can support them on this journey.
As a Data Virtualization Developer, you will be working as part of the Tibco Data Virtualization team whose main focus lies in creating Dashboards from various Asset Management Data pulled from a Big Data Warehouse.
For this challenging role, we are looking for a pragmatic & pro-active teamplayer with a positive attitude who has a keen interest to learn new things and doesn't think in silos
Desired profile for a Data Virtualization Developer:
- Must-have: Strong experience with a Data Virtualization tool like Tibco or alike (Actifio, Atscale, PowerCenter, Denodo, etc.)
- Must-have: Knowledge of Asset Management or Financial markets
- Strong SQL programming knowledge required.
- Experience with other programming languages (eg Java, Python)
- Experience with Markit EDM is a plus
- Experience working with Big Data is a plus
- Experience with RDBMS systems (eg SQL, Oracle)
- Experience with XML and json is a plus.
- Scripting ability (eg Powershell) is a plus.
- Ability to contribute to dealing with architectural and design challenges is a plus.
- Experience with applying and creating automated test solutions is a plus.
- Having a clear interest in financial markets and data management processes is a plus.
- Experience in metadata management is a plus.
