End date: 6 months
Extension: Extension planned, prior approval needed
Workload: 100% Remote
Work location: Barcelona, Spain
As an IT Project Manager you will be contributing to cross-functional projects to ensure successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of the project tasks.
Your tasks will include planning, executing, monitoring, control and closure of the projects you are accountable for, in close coordination with the Product Owner(s) and the Support Service(s).
The goal is to build the world's leading digital ecosystems for diabetes management that enables the connection of the various stakeholders, including physicians, clinics, nurses, payers and patients.
The projects to be managed are technical platform projects such as EMR integrations, Consent and Identity management, Big Data framework which aim is to provide the platform capabilities to the digital products.
Key Service Accountabilities:
? Accountable for delivering projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently
? Work with the Product owner to support the roadmap definition for any given product and translate this into user stories
? Remove obstacles or ‘blockers’ to team progress
? Coach the team to become better at self organizing their own work
? Protect the team and make sure they collaborate, communicate and focus on what is most important to deliver value
? Coach team members and others, facilitating continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques
? Proactively manage dependencies, overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints
? Manage project delivery risks
Must haves:
Experience in project and delivery management
? IT background
? 2+ years of work experience in leading programs/projects effectively in cross-functional teams spread in different geographies
? Experience as a Scrum Master focused on managing software projects through the complete agile project life-cycle
Soft skills:
? Demonstrated ability to coordinate working teams, including the ability to drive and facilitate cross-functional discussions and project reviews
? Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
? Ability to present complex solutions and methods to the general community
? Strong communication skills
Nice to have:
? Programming skills - scripting (Python/ JS / tcl / c-shell / bash etc.)
? Quality Management System knowledge
? Previous experience in Medical Software environments
