Your new team
- The Authorizarion Services squad is the leading squad within R&D IT on the global Linux implementation for the R&D Design Environments, spread over 9 datacenters. This team focusses on delivering and maintaining the LDAP infrastructure in a fully automated way making use of ansible and CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
- This team closely collaborates with teams that rely on Linux for authentication and authorization purposes for their services and teams responsible for Identity and Access Management.
- Your new role
- As a Linux DevOps engineer you will be responsible for both development, maintenance, support and implementation of product features and enhancements in the, like Ansible playbooks and releasing those changes in the various environments through CI/CD pipelines.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years of experience operating in a Linux environment, preferably RedHat
- Hands-on automation experience, for example with python Scripting, ansible, salt or similar
- Experience with DevOps concepts like code version control (Git), CI/CD and automated testing
- Willing to become a cross functional team member and learn from colleagues with other skillsets
- Work experience in a large enterprise environment
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure components & solutions, like: networking, load balancing, storage, Servers, virtualization and cloud computing
- Excellent English communication.
