Puppet Engineer
One of my Insurance clients is urgently looking for a Puppet Engineer for 3-6 month contract in Vilnius, Lithuania
The Puppet Engineer will have:
- Must have 4- 6 years of experience in Puppet based Infrastructure Automation.
- Hands- on experience in supporting and implementing automation and configuration management products such as Puppet in a complex global environment, including on premise/hosted, cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services, and co- locations.
- Proficient in multiple Scripting languages such as PowerShell, Perl, puppet module development.
- Knowledge of Puppet Internals including Facter, Manifests, Templates and Puppets domain specific language.
- Must have experience in supporting multi different operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Strong working knowledge in software development and continuous integration processes.
- Should have working knowledge on Bitbucket like creation of repositories, branches, merge and pull requests.
- Demonstrates excellent independent problem solving, analytical, and resolution skills.Self-starter; ability to begin working with minimal coaching.
- Strong communication, technical writing, and customer service skills.
- Exhibits the ability to adapt and be flexible with a growing and changing environment.
- Puppet certified professional is preferred
