Endeavour has a great contract opportunity for an Application Security Analyst to join a Banking sector client for a contract role till at least December 2020.
To be considered for this role, you must be FLUENT in French or Dutch!
Our client is looking for profiles with application development experience, ability to review infrastructure as code for cloud environments, and excellent communication skills.
Your role as Application Security Analyst will be to promote and perform secure coding assessment, through the following deliverable tasks:
- Work with product teams to ensure software meets security best practices.
- Conduct technical design reviews
- Assess the maturity of the secure SDLC within the organization
- Review source code, both manual and automated (SAST)
- Development of security guidelines for technologies including (.NET, Java, Python, Angular etc.)
- Report status on code security posture to management and propose process/technical improvements.
- Promote security culture throughout the company and participate to the education of various departments (eg engineering, operations) on security procedures and security risks.
Required skills/experience for the successful Application Security Analyst :
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science/Information Systems/Information Security or other related field
- minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in application development (.NET, Java, Python, Angular, etc.) with a strong experience with application vulnerability scanning tools (eg Checkmarx, AppScan, Fortify, SonarQube etc.)
- Strong understanding of a secure SDLC and experience
- Languages skills: you are fluent in at least 1 of the 2 national languages - French or Dutch
Beneficial skills/knowledge:
- Some practical experience with reviewing infrastructure as code for cloud environments (AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, Docker containers)
- Familiarity with industry best practices such as OWASP, SANS and ISO27K are a plus.
- Knowledge of DevOps culture and principles
