One of Energize Tech's key customers are currently looking for a Frontend Developer, specialised in Angular, to join their growing team in Brussels. Frontend Developer - Brussels - NL/FR Speaking
*Long term contract at least till the end of 2020, with the real possibility of extension
*NL/FR speaking with working knowledge of English
*Remote onboarding is possible until the Coronavirus lockdown has been lifted and it is safe to travel to work
Context
Next to some major technological changes, the team have decided to step into the Agile software development methodology in order to improve its agility and reduce time to market without scarifying quality. As a Senior Developer you will bring Mobile App Front End design and development skills to enforce the group of developers within a Squad. You will extensively make use and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of the companies journey.
Position Specific Responsibilities
*Design and discuss your own solution for addressing user stories and tasks
*Develop and unit-test,
*Integrate, deploy, maintain and improve software
*Perform peer code review
*Actively participate into the squad activities and ceremonies eg daily stand-up/scrum meeting
*Actively participate and Dev chapter lead activities
*Apply continuous integration best practices in general (SCM, build automation, unit testing, dependency management)
*Collaborate with other squad members to achieve the Squad/Sprint objectives
*Report progress/update Agile team management tools (JIRA/Confluence)
*Manage individual task priorities and deliverables
*Responsible for quality of solutions the he/she provides
*Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities,
*Support the PO, Analyst and Scrum Master
Experience/Qualification/Soft skills
*Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair working, Automated Testing, Agile Games
*Experience and large affinity with Mobile App Development & UI
*Experience with Ionic Framework for hybrid mobile app development
*Experience with Android and Apple release process
*Has Angular (Typescript) (5+) experience
*Has HTML, CSS, Javascript development experience for at least 3 years
*Has practical and applied knowledge of design patterns (and anti-patterns)
*Has experience with DevOps tools eg; GIT, TeamCity, Maven, SONAR
*Good understanding of REST architectural style, Micro Services concepts and technologies
*Experience with software design patterns and UML design
*Experience with Test automation technology and E2E testing (Protractor)
*Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment.
*Experience with distributed/multi-locations teams
*Familiar with Agile Team management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
*Understand and promote Agile values: FROCC (Focus, Respect, Openness, Commitment, Courage)
*Good communication skills
