Description

ServiceNow Developer required for a 3 month contract (possibility of extending) based in Worthing, West Sussex.
Working outside of IR35 for a high-profile organisation, as ServiceNow Developer you will be responsible for the planning, development, build and operation of the IT Service Desk Now instance.
The organisation is currently going through an exciting IT transformation which will strategically change the way it delivers IT support and services to its business and end users. To help support this strategic initiative, a new IT Service Desk is being introduced, which will become the single point of contact for end users requiring IT support and services.
Key responsibilities:

. Responsible for standing up the ServiceNow toolset from initial green field stand up to Operationalise through to Continual Improvement taking into account functional and non-functional requirements

. Work with an Implementation Partner and a Configuration Manager to coordinate the stand-up of ServiceNow and the Configuration Management Database

. Performing integration and process automation using Service Now Orchestration

. Loading, manipulating and maintaining data between Service-now and other systems via discovery or API integrations

. Performing system and integration testing with sample and live data Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application

. Defining and implementing IT quality assurance practices and procedures
Experience required:

. ServiceNow Developer experience and qualification including the latest ServiceNow release across multiple companies

. Service now implementation experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Request, Change, Knowledge, CMDB, Configuration & Asset)

. Hands on in Glide and Jelly Scripting, JavaScript, HTML, XML, AJAX and integrations with 3rd party tools using (web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc ) Capability:

. In-depth knowledge of the Service Now products and development framework with a proven track record of standing up a Service Now Service Desk from scratch

. Knowledge IT Service Management toolsets, including Knowledge Base & Configuration Management (eg Service Now, Remedy, Microsoft SCCM)
This role is to start ASAP and will pay between £600 - £700 Ltd/umbrella per day depending on your level of experience.
