Senior Technical Writer
Long-term Contract Opportunity with Downtown Cleveland Firm
Candidate must be U.S. Citizen
Responsibilities:
- Serves as Subject Matter Expert on the end-to-end contract process.
- Coordinates the process to ensure processes and policies are documented and responsible training team members.
- Negotiates rates with vendors to achieve optimal value for the company.
- Provides expertise to System (NPO) level assignments/work groups
- Leads cross-functional and more complex procurement projects (RFQs/RFPs) with key internal stakeholders
- Accountable for cost savings initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience communicating complex technical direction and decisions to executives
- Knowledge of large-scale technology initiatives and program management
- 10+ years of prior experience
- Experience in technical writing
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with the SDLC and general software development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project Management
- Ability to perform independent research
- Knowledge of regulations, procedures and practices of the Model Acquisition Guidelines
- Microsoft Office
