Security Application Developer - Brussels
Languages: ENGLISH with FRENCH and/or DUTCH
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Information Security or other related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in application development (.NET, Java, Python, Angular etc.).
- Strong experience with application vulnerability scanning tools (eg Checkmarx, AppScan, Fortify, SonarQube etc.).
Description of work:
- Work with product teams to ensure software meets security best practices.
- Conduct technical design reviews.
- Assess the maturity of the secure SDLC within the organisation.
- Review source code, both manual and automated (SAST).
- Development of security guidelines for technologies including .NET, Java, Python, Angular etc.
- Report status on code security posture to management and propose process/technical improvements.
- Promote security culture throughout the company and participate to the education of different departments (eg engineering, operations) on security procedures and security risks.
