Enterprise and Security Architect - English and Dutch Speaker - Antwerp - Freelance/Contract
Square One are looking for an Enterprise and Security Architect to come on board for an initial 6 month contract/freelance opportunity in Antwerp.
This is an initial 6 month opportunity, paying market rates.
Candidates MUST speak fluent English and Dutch for this role.
The role:
* Responsible for the overall design of the enterprise-wide IT strategic roadmap and architecture.
* Reviews, advises and designs standard software and hardware builds, system options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.
* Works on multiple projects as a project leader or as the subject matter expert. Works on projects/issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas
* Ensure adequate security policies, procedures and solutions are in place throughout all IT systems and platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines for the design of technology solutions.
* Researches, designs, and advocates new technologies, architectures, and solutions that will support requirements for the enterprise and its customers, business partners, and vendors.
* Develops and maintains an information strategy and architecture.
* Facilitates consistent business process and information analysis/design, archiving and recovery strategy, security and change management at the enterprise level.
* Serves as a security expert in application development, database design, network, and/or platform (operating system) efforts, helping project teams comply with enterprise and IT security policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
* Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.
* Develops and manages an architecture governance process.
* Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprise's architecture needs.
* Analyzes business impact and exposure based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks. Communicates security risks and solutions to business partners and IT staff as needed.
Knowledge
* Strong experience in IT infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning, architecture design, security architecture design, engineering (hardware and software) and optimization. Experience with "Digital Transformation/Industry 4.0" is an asset.
* Excellent knowledge of key information technology areas such as Office 365, security, networking, virtualization, ERP, cloud computing, IoT
* Requires expert knowledge of security architecture for infrastructure and applications, tools, processes & policies, frameworks issues, techniques and implications across all existing computer platforms.
