With the setup being created by TOPAZ one crucial element in responding to a security incident is ‘Site Network
Isolation’. This means the actions to disconnect / partially disconnect a site from remaining Novartis network. There are two main reasons for this:
1. An attack / malware is propagating in the Novartis network and has not yet reached a site.
2. An attack / malware is originating from a site and has not yet propagated into the Novartis network.
In order to define what is required to initiate and execute the site network isolation this project has been developed.
