You will work at one of the most famous apps in the Netherlands. At our banking apps we are always working hard on new innovative solutions for the Apps on both the iOS and Android platform. Not only consumers are using the app, more and more companies are using it as a payment method. The app falls within the grid 'Apps & Digital Innovation' where we are responsible for our retail apps: Grip, Mobile Banking and therefore our app.
Your job
Within our app we are looking for someone who would like to contribute in both Front End and Backend development. We work in AWS with a micro-services architecture. Work experience in this architecture is therefore highly desirable. You also have experience with Java, Spring, Javascript, Serverless Framework and AWS (Cloudformation, ECS, Lambda). For the Frond-End activities you work on the portal web application and on the payment pages of the app. Knowledge of React is required for this.
We work according to the Scrum framework in multidisciplinary DevOps teams to create the best possible customer experience. You work in a team with Product Owner, Scrum Master, App Developers, Testers and Full-stack developers. A lot of responsibility is placed with the team and this freedom is up to you to tackle within the team. In addition, we work Agile to remain as flexible as possible so that we know how to keep or keep in touch with our target group. We also find it important to be able to respond to events in our society, such as the campaign for the National Committee on 4 and 5 May. In this way we want to continue to inspire people to use our product.
