My client are looking for a hands-on Apigee Edge Lead Developer that leads small teams (of 3 to 6 dev/test resources) on a range of client engagements. As well as leading teams, the role includes hands-on development.
The Opportunity:
- Design and Develop Apigee Edge solutions (including Javascript and Junit Testing) on client projects
- Define REST API/JSON specification
- Collaborate API spec with other teams
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Must have knowledge of TDD and CI/CD processes
- Must have experience of working in an Agile (Scrum or Kanban)/DevOps environment
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs
The Candidate:
- Apigee Edge design and development experience
- Experience leading developers and undertaking activities such as reviews, impact analysis, estimation, etc.
- Experience of Server Side programming, for example, Node.js
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration/Delivery environment - using build and pipeline tools
- Bring value to the team through industry best practices, new technologies, automation, etc. related to Apis

- YAML/Swagger/OpenAPI
- Dynamo DB or similar
