Description
- Support the internal team, which delivers all urgent ICT operational support at the Institution such as performing data pre-processing activities and creating solutions to extract, transform and load operational data in the Institution's ICT systems;
- Taking the lead in the analysis, design and actual development (programming) of the solution, including prototyping, based on the existing solution requirements specifications and high level technical architecture
- Accounting for secure coding practices, as well as logging and auditing features, throughout the assignment and across deliverables;
- Ability to devise, implement, test and debug to production grade a UI system that implements CRUD operations, with corresponding business logic, on a dataset identified with the help of business counterparts and peers;
- Implementing unit tests for the developed components
- Contributing to the improvement of the development and build process
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education studies of minimum 3 years in computer science or related field certified by diploma or 3 years of experience of additional work experience
- Minimum 6 years of professional IT experience in software development using:
- Microsoft .NET (C#)
- ASP.NET Core
- JavaScript frameworks like Vue.JS, React or Angular
- MS SQL Server
- Elastic Search or MongoDB
- Message Queuing Services like RabbitMQ or Active MQ
- Docker
- Experience and knowledge with Python is highly desirable
- Solid documentation skills in English
- Throughout knowledge of technology trends and secure code practices
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English is required
