Overview:
The Risk division has a fundamental responsibility to protect the Bank. With group-wide responsibility for the management and control of credit, market, operational and reputational risks, we have a unique vantage point which allows us a holistic view of our businesses and our clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing changes to the Client Assets (CASS) rules and assessing the impact on the Bank's processes
- Designing, developing and implementing efficient control processes within Operations to ensure/maintain compliance with CASS regulations
- Owning gap analysis, processing re-engineering and implementation tasks for discrete processes within London Branch
- Responding to requests for information from regulators and auditors
- Overseeing daily CASS processes across stakeholder groups, to ensure ongoing compliance, including: CASS Resolution Pack, Client Money and Asset Reporting (CMAR), quality assurance, development of management information and management of governance forums
Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid experience of working in Operations within a financial services firm, including knowledge of front-to-back trade flows and the management of control processes
- Business analysis experience, including 'as-is/to-be' gap analysis, process mapping, stakeholder management, etc
- Experience of successfully designing and deploying new processes in a large and complex financial organisation
- Experience of leading (or significant contribution to) Financial Services regulatory projects
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and influencing skills, at all levels of seniority
