Description
Developer urgently required to work in London for 6 months on a contract basis for a leading global energy trading company.The candidate's responsibility will involve;
- Working collaboratively with the Data Architects and Data Engineers.
- Taking the lead and providing insight and perspectives on software integration and development decisions.
- The candidate will use the latest development, testing and deployment techniques to quickly deploy new releases.
Skills and Requirements.
- 10+ years' of corporate IT experience with data platforms; working with large data sets.
- C# design and coding skills.
- Experience and understanding Trading and Supply (commodity) businesses.
- Experience and strong understanding of general development platforms.
- Experience and knowledge of auto software deployment technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Git)
- Experience with Cloud-based software, specifically Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with data Architecture and design techniques such as Azure API techniques/developments.
- Experience of Agile Project Delivery techniques (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
- Knowledge of data pipelining-based technologies (e.g. KAFKA, StreamSets)
