Site Manager - (Gas & Electric refurb and new sites)
Location: Colchester & Essex
Duration: Initial 6 months
Rate: £Competitive pwd
The Role;
As the Site Manager you will enact the role of Engineers Representative on behalf of the client across construction sites. You will be responsible for the overall site quality, safety and dealing with operational issues, including various size teams of operatives per contract, reporting and supporting Small Works Contractors as the designated Site Manager.
You will be responsible for the delivery of the refurbishment or new build of sites. Not limited to the installation of External Wall Installation, new roads, electrical HV wiring, water service distribution, commission and testing.
*These roles would suit candidates with experience of smaller sites and a background in Mechanical Engineer as opposed to civil. Although hybrid skills will be considered*
Responsibilities;
- Experience in running sites, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within the programmed time scale
- Accomplished in organising mechanical contractors, materials, labour resources and hosting regular site meetings when required
- Project Management skills including management of risk for delivery of projects to scope, time, cost, quality, safety and security of supply.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and practices and policies
