Description
Our client is looking for a GIS Developer who ideally has had experience developing a GIS system in either the Solar or Renewables industry.
You will ideally have extensive experience with QGIS or Postgres and have lots of Opensource knowledge. You will also need to have extensive Python experience. You will need to be very comfortable with completing and concisely documenting all development code and processes as this will need to be stored within the company for any future reference by the Senior Management and the Technical team. The documentation aspect
will be as important as the GIS tool development itself.
This GIS tool development will be a ground breaking concept and involve multiple data steams to establish accurate analysis of specific locations throughout the UK.
It will be extremely interesting work and will involve working with a dynamic team who thrive on innovation.
If you have already worked on Solar/GIS projects before then this role could be the ultimate project to be involved in.
