Lead Python Developer (100% Remote)
Tremendous opportunity for a Lead Python Developer to join a growing technology company.
You will be working on a mission critical project to modernize our platform. You will be a hands on Technical Lead responsible for design, development, collaborating with other team members, code reviews, mentoring and coaching, and assisting with testing. Our technology stack includes Python, Django, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Docker, Git, React, JavaScript, and AWS.
This is a one year contract position with the option to extend or convert, with flexible hours where you can work 100% remote from your home and live anywhere. Awesome opportunity to make an impact at a growing technology company.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1+ years as a hands on Technical Lead
- Senior Backend or Full Stack Engineer with 8+ years of experience
- 3+ years of Python development
- 1+ years of Django
- DynamoDB or PostgreSQL
- HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Git
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced startup type of environment
- Ability to mentor other Developers
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- AWS
- Docker
- Celery
- Automation tools (ie Salt, Terraform, CloudFormation, Vagrant, Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
- Event driven architectures or stream processing
