Description
Our client is seeking a part time Instructional Trainer for a minimum of 20 hours per week, but can be up to 30 hours+ per week who under broad supervision, plan, develop, and present technical training on the ServiceNow platform for clients business units. Programs may be designed to meet work specific and/or general training needs. This position will interact on a consistent basis with business unit management and staff personnel, instructors, vendors, participants. Remote Work Permitted: Due to COVID-19, the client has agreed to allow the selected candidate to work remotely for the time being. However, the selected candidate must be available to report onsite as directed by the client
1. Prepare and conduct technical training programs, presentations, and webinars do be delivered remotely and in person.
2. Deploy training to targeted personnel.
3. Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
4. Assist in design of computer-based and multimedia curriculum.
5. Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
6. Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
7. Test process with different subjects.
8. Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
9. Coordinate the offering of training courses through campus-wide communications efforts or directed within a unit including development of training schedules.
10. Coordinate course registration, training materials production and distribution and availability of training support equipment.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education, Specialized Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree -
- Two-Three years job related experience Certifications or licenses required for this job
- Certifications or licenses preferred: ITIL
- Proven experience as technical trainer
- Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects
- Experience in designing technical course content
- Creation and editing of training videos
- Ability to address training needs with complete courses
- Working knowledge in O365 (especially PowerPoint)
- Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Software

Preferred skills
- Certification such as CTT+ (Certified Technical Trainer) is a strong asset.
- ITIL Certification
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Incident, Request, and Knowledge Management
