My high profile banking client are currently recruiting for a banking Administrator ideally with client services reconciliations experience or Knowledge of Derivative Products.
Job description:
Key roles/responsibilities:
The incumbent will act as liaison between the client, investment manager, broker and internal areas on all derivative related business events including new client conversions, investment manager restructures, asset allocation changes, and deconversions.
They will be responsible for providing business expertise through all stages of the event, communicating procedures and practices, and ensuring a successful implementation.
They will assist in client presentations where needed.
The incumbent will write and maintain internal operating procedures, tutorials and training curriculums.
They will assist with the planning and testing of the Section's emergency procedures and practices, and maintain the plan in accordance with management directives and Corporate deadlines.
The incumbent will provide business expertise for Risk Management, including identifying new risks or updates to existing risks.
They will participate in internal and external audits, and compile audit documentation.
They will collect key statistical data to track trends and measure productivity.
Skills required:
A Derivatives background is preferred.
Experience as a Derivative Operations Specialist and Derivatives Operations Liaison (formerly Trade Specialist and Advisor Service Officer) or related work experience.
Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
Knowledge and understanding of the derivatives industry, the players, foreign exchange markets, and settlement practices in domestic and foreign markets is desirable.
Ability to work in a team environment, or individually, and deal effectively with all levels of staff is essential.
