Description
We are currently looking for a Mechanical & Piping Project Engineer to work on a live production plants in Rotterdam, Netherlands and Antwerp, Belgium. The client has an immediate need for a project engineer to join them delivering a broad range of capital expenditure projects, especially upgrade and revamp of mechanical equipment.
The role will suit a Project Engineer with experience in any process plant industry (chemical/petrochem) who has a strong track record of managing a portfolio of upgrade & maintenance projects on a live plant. The role will entail delivering full project life cycles from concept through to project management.
Mechanical & Piping Project Engineer Specification:
START: ASAP - Immediate (Interviews next week)
LOCATION: Rotterdam, Netherlands/Antwerp, Belgium
DURATION: 12 Month Contract
Essential Skills:
5+ Project Engineering experience in (petro)chemical/food/energy industry.
Mechanical Engineering background (MSc beneficial), experience with multidisciplinary projects.
Experience working on upgrade/replacement/modification projects, primarily involving mechanical equipment (pipes, tanks, pumps, heaters, valves etc).
Ability to deliver projects independently, from basic & detailed design to completion & startup.
Experience managing projects within a live plant environment (turnaround/shut downs)
Must be fluent in English. Dutch is beneficial.
The client is a market leading chemical manufacturer and require a mechanical & piping project engineer to assist in the delivery of their 2 CAPEX programme. This role requires a Project Engineer who can manage multidisciplinary projects within their live plant to maintain the running of the plant.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the role will incorporate managing multidisciplinary teams across a portfolio of projects with a value of 100,000€ - 5,000,000€.
