We are currently looking for a Project Engineer with mechanical engineering experience to work on a live production plant in Europoort, Rotterdam. The client has an immediate need for a project engineer to join them delivering tank maintenance projects.

The role will suit a Project Engineer with experience in any process plant industry (oil & gas/refinery/petrochem) who has a strong track record of managing a portfolio of smaller capex projects especially on static mechanical equipment ie tanks.

Project Engineer Specification:

START: ASAP - Immediate (Interviews next week)

LOCATION: Rotterdam, Netherlands

DURATION: 12-18 Month Contract

Essential Skills:

Project Engineering experience (5-10+ years).

Mechanical Engineering background (BSc or above preferred).

Must be Dutch speaking.

Experience working on upgrade/replacement/modification projects, primarily involving mechanical static equipment (ideally tank maintenance).

Ability to deliver projects independently, including scope, budget, purchasing and supervision of contractors.

The client is looking for a hands-on project engineer.

The client is a refinery in the Europoort area of Rotterdam. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role requires a Project Engineer who can manage 18 months of tank maintenance projects from concept to completion.
