SAP S/4 HANA Functional Consultant - R&D, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

Home Based with Travel (post C19 restrictions)

£700 per day for an initial 6 months

We are working under NDA for a large scale M&A Programme for a Retail client with offices in over 50 countries.

As part of this complex separation programme they are looking to build a team of experienced SAP specialists who have worked in a large FMCG or Retail organisation and have been involved in a large SAP based separation programme.

To be considered you must have extensive SAP Functional experience (preferably SAP S4 Hana) to define and design the processes required for separation in R&D and PLM

In addition to having successfully completed minimum of 3 full life cycle projects experience in the role of functional PLM consultant, the successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in the administration of a multi-tier, global on premise S/4 HANA implementation
  • Extensive understanding of SAP R&D or PLM front of supply chain including design, configuration, testing, implementation and deployment
  • Experience working with both internal and third party teams to deliver complex solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computers or related field
  • 4+ Years SAP technical experience working to industry standards and best practices
  • Formal SAP training and/or certification is a plus
  • Experience with Activate Methodology and/or Solution Manager would be a plus
  • Must possess strong communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact at all levels within client company
  • The role involves dealing with senior supply chain stakeholders and requires excellent user facing and third party management skills.

This role will primarily be home based and (Once travel restrictions are released) occasional travel to offices across the UK and Europe.

In return the client will offer a starting day rate of £700 a day
