Job Title: Systems Administrator - Storage and Backup
Job Type: Contract
Location: BRUSSELS but will start fully REMOTE until Covid restrictions are lifted
Duration: Until End of year then Yearly Extensions
Pay Rate: €400 -€420 per day

Experienced System Administrator (Experienced SYSAD) Minimum 4 years experience
Server, Backup and Storage Management in the Infrastructure Management Operations project team (IMO SBS)
- Support service owners, operations managers and service teams on operational projects related to customer foundation services, including interventions on ICT infrastructure (servers, backup devices, virtual machines, etc);
- Drafting operational guidelines, procedures, installation notices and scripts for the integration, installation and upgrade of aforementioned component services;
- Support setup and management of central monitoring infrastructure;
- Assistance with roll-out of new ICT infrastructure projects;
- Operate in accordance with the defined ITIL processes and procedures;
- Performing backup/restore operations on data;
- Development of scripts to improve central management and control facilities (central alerting, central logging, central security polices implementation ...).
- ITILv3 certification(s);
- Ability to write technical notes in English;
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working;
- Good communication skills ;
- Quick learning ability is required, being organized, versatile and a results-oriented team player;
- Experience in providing support for enterprise environment;
- Ability to cope with fast changing technologies and environments;
- Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 Server administration;
- Expertise in WAMP/LAMP (Linux/Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP) application administration;
- Symantec & NetApp Backup administration and recovery procedures;
- VMware & Hyper-V management and administration;
- Shared storage administration (NetApp/IBM/HP);
- TCP/IP protocol and related services in a Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 environment: DNS, DHCP, WINS;
- Hardware environment (Server);
- Good scripting skills (shell, bash, …)
- Very good knowledge of PowerShell 2+;
- Minimum 1 technical certification:
- MCSA/MCSE: Server Infrastructure
- MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 and above
- o(Storage) NCSA, NCDA, NCIE
- o(Virtualisation) VCA-DCV, VCP4/5-DCV, VCAP4/5-DCA, VCAP4/5-DCD, VCDX4/5-DV, VCA-WM, VCP4/5-DT, VCAP-DTD, VCDX-DT - MCTS, MCITP: Virtualization Administrator (or higher)
- (Linux) RHCSA, RHCE, RHCJD, RHCJA
- Oracle RDBMS database administration
