RHEL - Linux engineer - Leeds (remote working) - contract - 6 months - £300 per day inside IR35
the Bridge IT are currently recruiting for a contract linux engineer for a client who are based in Leeds, the interview process will be remote and the working will be remote initially, the contract is 6 months and paying £300 per day inside IR35.
The technical skills for the role:
- Linux
- RHEL (inc. Centos)
- debian
- Solaris
- MySQL/MariaDB
- Creating and reviewing documentation
- Support of users and Linux systems in technically diverse (preferably academic RH/Centos) environment
- Deployment of software/operating systems using enterprise level management tools like puppet (version 3-5)/satellite
- Puppet
- Web Servers
- Networking
- Coding/Scripting: at least bash and something else (python, Perl, etc)
- Linux on the desktop and server
- Software packaging - Env Modules, RPM, compiling from source
